Visitor photo terms
By sending a photo or story you confirm that:
- You took the photo yourself (or own the rights to it), and any story is your own.
- You took it legally — no trespassing on private or closed property, and within posted hours.
- It doesn't show anyone who can be recognized without their permission, and it contains no nudity, gore, hate or anything illegal.
- You give Almanac of the Haunted a free, non-exclusive, worldwide permission to show the photo or story, your caption and your name on this site and in posts that promote it. You still own your photo.
Every photo is reviewed before it appears, and we may decline or remove any photo at any time. We strip location data (GPS) from every photo. Your email is never shown or shared.
If a photo here is yours and was posted without permission, or you want your own photo taken down, contact us and we will remove it promptly.
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It uses cookies and doesn't identify you personally.
